The finca “Cortijo del Rincon I” is located on about 150 meters above sea level. With fantastic views of the Atlantic Ocean and the beach of Famara. The complex consists of a second house and several technical small buildings (water cistern, diesel generator). On the terrace-like level is a beautiful garden with different succulents laid out and surrounded by natural stone walls. In front of the house is a semi-open courtyard with flowering bushes and flowering trunks. To be grouped there is a spacious room with kitchen and dining area, a living room with fireplace, a bedroom, a bathroom (shower / WC / wash) and a wardrobe. At the rear of the complex are two bedrooms and a separate bathroom (shower / WC / wash). The finca is built in the traditional masonry and plastered in a light color. The roofs are concreted, sealed with multi-layered bitumen and also brightly painted. The interior consists of white, plastered walls and flooring made of clay slabs. The windows and the carpentry work of the doors and built-in furniture are executed very carefully in dark tropical wood.

The property is located on a hillside below the “El Risco de Famara”, the highest mountain of Lanzarote. Due to this mountain chain and the location in the west of the island, pleasant temperatures are given for all seasons. Since the whole area was declared a nature reserve in the 1970s, no further development is allowed and the unique prospect is also secured in the future. The beach just below Famara is 15 minutes walk away. With its length of 6 km, it is perfect for swimming as well as for walks or jogging and is also one of the best surfing beaches in Europe. Next to it is the “Urbanizacion” Famara, a residential complex with bungalows, a restaurant and a small shop for daily food. In another 20 minutes is the old fishing village Caleta, which is considered the best preserved of its kind on Lanzarote. Also here are several restaurants and shopping possibilities. Teguise, the very beautiful old capital in the interior of the island, is about 6 km further east. You can get there by public transport as well as on one of the many hiking trails. The same is true for the small town of Haría, which is located in the wonderful “valley of the 1000 palm trees” well 10 km north. The capital Arrecife and the airport are reachable in 20-30 minutes by car.
